Picking Up The Pieces Enrichment Center was created to give families on James Island a nurturing, community-centered alternative to traditional childcare and schooling.

Our Story
Picking Up the Pieces Enrichment Center was created to support families seeking a nurturing, community-centered alternative to traditional childcare and education.
While we are a newly launched program, the vision for this center has been shaped by years of community engagement, educational experience, and a deep commitment to empowering families.
Our programs combine attentive childcare with Montessori-inspired learning concepts, creating environments where children can explore, build independence, and develop confidence through guided discovery and hands-on experiences.
We believe education should nurture the whole child academically, socially, and emotionally while honoring the culture, community, and experiences that shape who they are.
Every part of our center is designed to provide children with meaningful learning opportunities, supportive relationships, and a strong foundation for lifelong growth.
We are building more than a childcare or learning program.
We are building a space where children, families, and community can grow together and a legacy that supports the next generation.
